Bringing Hope

As mentioned on The Need page, there are many children's hospices in other parts of the world including the UK, Australia, Kuwait and Canada, but very few in the United States. We'd like to recognize the following children's hospice organizations, making big strides close to home:

Canuck Place

In November 1995, Canuck Place opened as the first free standing children’s hospice in North America. On November 1, 2010 they broke ground to build their 2nd children's hospice one hour away in Abbotsford, BC.

George Mark Children's Hospice
San Leandro, CA
As the first residential children's hospice in the United States, George Mark Children's Hospice opened in March of 2004.

Ryan House

Ryan House opened it's doors in March of 2010, and was created through a partnership with Hospice of the Valley.
